This was my first full tipper and friends event and I went with my brother and a few of his friends. I had gone to astral lights in 2018 which was similar but not thrown by Dave himself. It took awhile to get by bearings in the venue since we were camped like directly on the other side of the pond from the venue entrance, so have 2 separate ways to take caused some confusion a few times. The venue was great and the stage area was beautiful with all of the trees and the moss hanging down. If def looked like a fantasy world. The stage design by Hoodie Salinas was spectacular. Its been awhile since this fest so I dont remember all of the shenanigans but I know me and my group of 7 or so all had a blast. People were great, shows were excellent, and tipper hammock sessions just killed it. Only drawback with just the one stage is they definitely need to cap admission, it was hard to get around the stage area late once hammocks were everywhere. But I can totally see why Dave wants that stage as it just makes the atmosphere.
